King’s Church Leicester seeks to be a church like the one described in Act 2 vs 14-41:

a devoted community
devoted to Christ
devoted to the Church (the wider community of churches worldwide)
devoted to the Apostles teaching from the Bible
devoted to the Apostles teaching on leadership and spiritual authority.

King’s Church Leicester is not a club or society, but a family of Christians who are dedicated to loving each other and seeking to bless those around them. Becoming a member of King’s Church is not a change of status with God, it is a declaration that you are committed to Jesus and to the church as a member of the family.

Every year, we run a Membership Course so that you can learn about what being a member entails and how the church operates.

Every Friday starting on 17th September

Alpha Course and So Why God Courses

On Friday evenings starting September the 17th we are running our next Alpha Course for adults which enables people to explore Christianity alongside the "So Why God? Course" produced by Scripture Union and aimed especially for primary school aged children. This means parents can enjoy attending The Alpha Course while at the same time the children can learn more about Christianity in a separate room as they follow "So Why God?". Adults without children interested in The Alpha Course are also very welcome. Free food will be provided at 6.00pm and at 6.30pm there will be a relaxed talk and discussion for the adults and games, music and fun for the children. The whole evening will finish at 7:45pm.
